Inside Sales Representative (Toronto, Canada) »
Reporting To: SVP, Sales
Department: Sales
Location: Toronto-based
Responsibilities
- Following up on all leads generated from internal webinars, tradeshows or other outside sources, such as requests for information through effective telesales activities
- Qualify inbound leads and prospects via phone and email identifying key decision makers and then passing the leads onto the appropriate Regional Sales Director
- Achieving call quota on a daily basis
- Compiles productivity report for management to review
- Maintain excellent customer service relations
Experience Required
- Minimum 2-3 years experience directly relating to Inside Sales within software or technology related industry
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Deadline driven
- Strong cold calling skills
- A positive, friendly attitude
- Ability and aptitude to learn new processes and systems
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision in a fast-paced environment

Product & IT Support (Toronto, Canada) »
Reporting To: Director, IT
Department: R&D
Location: Toronto-based
Responsibilities
You will provide world-class technical and non-technical support in a call centre environment to our customers. You will also interpret customer requirements and communicate solutions, while ensuring excellent customer service by communication with the internal team, and/or ensure and appropriate transfer to the responsible department when required.
Experience/Education Required
- A related post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Experience and/or knowledge of a customer service environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- A positive, friendly attitude with the willingness and ability to sell
- An understanding of the sales process
- Ability to learn and share information with others
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision in a fast-paced environment, while effectively managing multiple tasks
- Self-starter, hungry for knowledge, desire to learn new technologies
Some additional assets would be:
- One year of direct front-line customer support or service experience, preferable in a technical or operating systems support role
- Working knowledge of the Internet, Internet technologies, and technological/industry trends, as well as personal computers, e-mail and operating systems, dial-up and high-speed Internet connectivity
- Working knowledge of SDLS, more specifically REQUIREMENTS & CONFIGURATION MGMT

Sr. Developer (Toronto, Canada) »
Reporting To: SVP, R&D
Department: R&D
Location: Toronto-based
Responsibilities
- As a member of a distributed development team, this position plays a senior role in the design and test driven development of our product which is currently a Java thick client “Requirements Definition” Product with SVN used as our back-end repository for "Requirements Models".
- Assist in the continued definition of technical standards and best practices used within R&D.
- Contribute to product architecture direction.
- Conduct code reviews and mentoring of junior developers.
- Work closely with the remote development team currently located in Russia.
- Contribute to release and sprint planning.
Experience/Education Required
- A minimum of a graduate degree in CS or related field
- Six to eight year overall software architecture / development experience with at least four years providing technical leadership in complex thick client java application development based on Swing.
- 2 to 5 years experience with the following technologies:
- Java
- EMF
- Apache-Commons
- Velocity
- XML Technologies such as JAXB, JAXP, XSLT, XPATH, XQUERY, DOM, DOM4J
- Swing
- JUnit
- Eclipse IDE
- An asset but not required to have experience in the following:
- SVNKit
- ANT
- Eclipse RCP
- Batik
- At least 2 years working experience using Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
- Strong experience with test driven development.
- Experience working with a distributed (overseas) development team using Agile.
- Ability to speak Russian and English clearly.
Sales Engineer (Chicago / Surrounding States) »
Reporting To: Director, Sales Engineering

Overview
As part of the sales organization, the Sales Engineer will work closely with Regional Sales Directors to identify, qualify, develop and win opportunities within target markets and accounts.
Responsibilities
Listed in rank of importance, the key responsibilities of this position:
- Positioning and Solution Strategies
Work with Regional Sales Directors and other technical staff to develop (i.e. identify, document, review) positioning and ‘solution’ strategies for major accounts that will create strong reference solutions.
- Opportunity Management
- develop understanding of organization
- collection or required customer information, design and price proposed solutions,
- identify and establish rapport with influencers on the technical side
- present company and product capabilities
- Value Add to the Sales Cycle in the Areas Of:
- Requirements Analysis
- Solution Development
- In depth product demonstrations
- Transition to Professional Services
- Collect issues and ideas from customers, partners, sales and consulting staff and coordinate formal input to product council, product planning and PRD processes.
Experience Required
- A Minimum of 5-7 years experience as a Sales Engineer within a software product field sales organization, coupled with a university degree in computing or engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience with Application Life Cycle Solutions in Requirements, Design, Testing & Configuration Management areas as SDLC methodologies.
- Exposure to other aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle is a definite advantage, particularly in Business Modeling, SOA (service oriented architecture), Coding, Change & Configuration Management, Deployment and Test Automation and Management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory – particularly as it applies to communicating product value to customers with a wide range of proficiency levels, across a variety of vertical markets, in both business and technical areas.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present complex ideas and solution concepts at all levels in a customer organization.
- Professionalism; resourcefulness, and a generally positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
